Check material
- Check material for signaling is complete.
- The boxes with all the material have been in temporary storage with you since the 2024 anniversary event.
- Marking sprays and cable ties can still be obtained from the depot at Alpenstrasse 10, 6330 Cham.
Signalize the route
- Spray everything that can be sprayed (prevention of vandalism)
- Mark on the left wherever possible ("Go left - see danger")
- As a rule, only make markings when there is a junction where you have to turn (as much as necessary, as little as possible), change direction approx. 10 m before the junction
a) Asphalt with spray
- Clean the surface with a brush (no gravel, dust etc. on asphalt)
- Shake spray can well, approx. 1 minute
- Lay down the spray stencil (spray carefully, distance approx. 20 cm)
- Carefully remove the spray stencil
- Important: Also spray the length of the track (short - medium - long), see picture
b) Natural paths with T-posts and signposts
- Pre-punch with a countersink
- Insert T-posts and hammer in with a sledgehammer
- Fasten signposts with cable ties
- Important: Consider the coloring of the route length (short = blue / medium = red / long = black), see picture
Charging the batteries
- Attach the spare battery three days before completion and fully charge the main battery until the last day so that two fully charged batteries can be taken to the new stage location when dismantling.
Dismantling
- Collect T-posts and signposts, remove cable ties
- Check material and store temporarily.
- Record times on the last day of the event by 20.00 h at the latest, then send a confirmation email to media@zugerbergfinanz-trophy.ch ("Times recorded ready")
