Safety and tolerance

ROUTES

The routes are to be covered exclusively on paved roads and paths.
I behave tolerantly towards all other users of the route (other participants, agricultural and forestry vehicles, neighbors, etc.). In particular, I show consideration for the activities of farmers on whose private property some of the routes are located.
Crossing fields, undergrowth, etc. is prohibited - especially in the sport of orienteering (do not leave paths, do not enter meadows, stay on the path in the forest and do not cross it).
On stages with trails, the ground can be slippery in wet weather (mud, leaves, roots), so caution is advised.

MOUNTAIN TRAILS

The routes are on public roads that are not closed off.
The normal road traffic regulations apply.
Signalization must be observed.
I am a normal road user and therefore responsible for my own safety and the safety of other road users.
I behave in a tolerant manner towards all other users of the route (other participants, agricultural and forestry vehicles, neighbours, etc.). I show particular consideration for the activities of farmers on whose private property some of the routes are located.
The wearing of a certified helmet is mandatory for participants in the sports of mountain biking, road biking, gravel biking and e-biking.
Please note that the routes may be dirty, for example after heavy thunderstorms.

GENERAL

I will follow the specific safety instructions of the individual stage locations. These are published on the front page of the website.
If a route has to be closed due to force majeure (thunderstorms, unforeseen roadworks, etc.), there is no entitlement to a stage extension to make up for a missed start.

Insurance

Accident insurance: I am obliged to take out my own insurance to cover any damage caused by an accident during my participation.
Liability insurance: I am obliged to take out liability insurance that covers damage to third parties during participation.

Non-liability of the organizer

I cannot hold the organizers of the Zugerberg Finanz Trophy, the carpediem sports club, the municipal clubs and their members and assistants, as well as the organizing municipalities and the canton liable for any damage I suffer during participation.
Any liability of the organizers of the Zugerberg Finanz Trophy, their bodies, employees and other assistants for direct or indirect damages that I suffer in the course of my participation is expressly excluded.

Prize draw

By participating, I automatically take part in the sponsors' prize draws.
I acknowledge that my address data may be forwarded to the sponsors for this purpose.

Data protection

By participating, I agree that my data may be published in the Zugerberg Finanz Trophy ranking list on the Internet.
The ranking list may also be published in the media.

By participating in the Zugerberg Finanz Trophy, I accept these regulations without reservation.
