10 days to go. The countdown is on.
Great routes in Steinhausen
The Running Trophy starts with stage 01_Steinhausen. The scenic circular courses measure 2.8 km, 8.4 km and 12.3 km. Stage organizer Claude Gasser enthuses: "The hilly routes in the local recreation area impress with their views and a pleasant mix of field and forest sections. The Steinhauser Forest is very popular as a training area for runners." 1500 starts in the last two years are impressive proof of this.
A crisp climb up to the Horben
Those who prefer a challenge can try the starting stage 01_Auw-Horben as part of the Mountain Trophy. "Our stage is characterized by a climb with many changes of rhythm and two crisp ramps. The last section up to Alpwirtschaft Horben is flat and offers a wonderful view over the Reuss Valley," says stage organizer Andi Amstutz. Over a distance of 4.8 km, 330 meters in altitude have to be overcome. Will the record number of participants from 2016 with over 1000 times be beaten this year?
