A Trophy round over Easter
Christian Furrer will complete a round in the Steinhauser Forest over Easter.
Swiss Life has been supporting the trophy for years. Christian Furrer, Head of the General Agency in Zug, will be completing his first round in Steinhauser Wald over Easter.
Christian Furrer has been working as Head of the General Agency Zug at Swiss Life for six months. "I really enjoy the contact with people and working in a team," says the Lucerne native. He thinks the Trophy is a great thing. That's why he is planning to run a stage in Steinhausen with his family over Easter. "After all, spring is just around the corner, so my running shoes or my bike will draw me outside." His 8-year-old son also keeps him on his toes. Perhaps there will also be an orienteering circuit so that everyone is equally challenged, says the family man with a smile.
Encouraging response
Anyone who runs or walks a lap in Steinhausen is rewarded by Swiss Life. "The response to our campaign has been great. We've ordered more gifts, but the interest is so great that these will soon be gone too," says Christian Furrer happily. "It's great that we were able to motivate one or two people to take part because, in addition to the health benefits, there was also a reward."
For more joie de vivre
Swiss Life is not the only organization encouraging people to get out in the fresh air; the Office for Sport and Health Promotion is also counting steps. Exercise contributes to joie de vivre. In the current situation, it is being neglected in many places. That is why the office is calling on the people of Zug to take part in the "Hey Zug" challenge. The first challenge was: "Let's run around Switzerland together." So many people have already entered their steps on www.hey-zug.ch that the joint target of 1,935 kilometers or 2,764,285 steps, i.e. the circumference of Switzerland, has already been reached. Now we continue. We are walking to the equator together, so the new goal is 5,243.9 kilometers or 7,491,428 steps. Let's go!
