Already over 100 launches of the Höllgrotten Harriers
The Höllgrotten Harriers go running together three times a week.
Halfway through the Winter Challenge, the Höllgrotten Harriers are leading the club trophy by a large margin. A Harrier has already competed over a hundred times.
The Winter Challenge of the Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy on Sunday evening, March 8, recorded 383 starts and 2260 kilometers run. The Höllgrotten Harriers made a major contribution to the pleasing result. The Baar-based club recorded 112 starts and 660 kilometers run. At 383 kilometers, the gap to second-placed Lauftreff Zug is considerable.
Well thought out and well organized
Anna Spooner from Zug has collected the most kilometers for the Harriers so far. 65 in total. "The Zug Trophy is fantastic. It is well thought out and very well organized. It attracts the fast and experienced runners as well as the less fast ones, which includes me," says the Zug native and adds: "My goal is to improve my fitness during the Winter Challenge so that I can run not only the medium but also all the long Trophy distances." Her club is out and about three times a week. Anna Spooner always runs with them. "But I try to run on other days too, as a personal challenge." The Harriers are a great group. They support and motivate each other.
Already started 36 times
With 210 kilometers, the account of Maja Dietrich from Baar counts the most of all Trophy participants. Thanks to her, Lauftreff Zug is in second place. But she has already run the 5.9-kilometre lap no less than 36 times. The Winter Challenge runs until March 20 and starts at the Herti athletics facility in Zug. It covers the middle lap of stage 05_Zug.
