Five that encourage participation
In June 2020, five Trophy fans met at the start of the Ennetsee stage. However, the program was not a joint lap, but a photo shoot.
Photography is Remo Peer's great hobby and he has grown fond of the Trophy: "It's the best opportunity to compare my fitness level with runs from previous years and those of other runners while enjoying the varied routes." He has been able to benefit from the free sports format for years and is now happy to give something back to the Zugerberg Finanz Trophy in this form. The result is wonderful photos and a video that encourages people to take part.
The fast
The participants were Doris Nagel-Wallimann, Adrian Krahn, Fredy Peer and Sara Hübscher. We know Doris as a serial winner and course record holder from the 2020 season, and she was delighted to be asked to take part in the shoot: "I felt honored. It was a new experience and great fun." She likes to incorporate the Trophy routes into her marathon training." Depending on the race calendar, she is also flirting with all distances this year. "And of course I want to run personal best times again."
The Ambassador
Adrian Krahn has been a Trophy runner from the very beginning and took on the role of 'Ambassador' last year. That's why he wants to encourage personalities from politics, clubs, sport and non-profit organizations to run a lap with him again this year. We will report regularly on these Trophy talks.
The persevering
Fredy Peer, born in 1947 and Remo's father, is on the road with impressive achievements. His goal for 2021: "As well as completing all the stages, I want to live up to the new name of the Zugerberg Finanz Trophy. I will tackle all the mountain stages and thus the altitude challenge."
The writer
