Getting to the start by public transport
Those who travel to the start of the stage by public transport will benefit in several ways.
The Zugerberg Finanz Trophy officially starts its 19th season in ten days' time. This year, the Tarifverbund Zug is also on board as a mobility partner. Together with the organizers, it is encouraging people to travel by bus and train.
The public transport network in Switzerland, and especially in the canton of Zug, is denser than in almost any other country. That's why the Trophy participants can easily reach the stage starts in the canton of Zug. Firstly, if you don't use your car, you don't have to look for a parking space and secondly, you can take a different route back on the mountain stages.

The Zugerland Verkehrsbetriebe website shows which stop is closest to the start of the stage. Go to www.zvb.ch/freizeit and select "Zugerberg Finanz Trophy" under "Find activities". Click on the relevant stage location and the nearest stop, timetable and "Buy ticket" ticket store will be displayed. If you click on the public transport option in the confirmation email that participants receive after crossing the finish line, you could win one of two Zuger Pass Plus annual season tickets.
Warm-up included
When the race starts in Steinhausen Forest on 25 March, taking the bus to the "Steinhausen Zentrum" stop has another big advantage: the 500 meters to the start at the Sunnegrund school building are perfect for a warm-up. Most of the other stages also have a few "valuable" meters between the bus stop and the start for warming up - and running out. If these parts of the training are not forgotten, the risk of injury is also reduced.
Until March 24 in Zug
The pre-start stage with start and finish at the athletics track in Zug runs until Friday, March 24. After two weeks, or half of the stage duration, the organizers have recorded a pleasing 500 starts, which were completed by 150 participants. Clear duels are already emerging: Armin Kirchhofer and Daniel Etter are battling it out at the top of the frequent starter rankings, as are Zugerberg Finanz AG and Partners Group in the company rankings. And among the clubs, the Höllgrotten Harriers seem to have set their sights high once again.
