How do you actually get faster?
The answer to this question accompanies sports enthusiasts more or less intensively, depending on their personal ambitions. For Christian Pötzsch from CP Sports, our stage sponsor at the Menzinger Mountain Trophy, it is part of everyday business.
Christian Pötzsch has been a sponsor of the Raiffeisen Zuger-Trophy since last year: "The idea of the Trophy is brilliant. Anyone can compete with themselves or with others, 24 hours a day." Pötzsch knows what it means to compete with others. He can look back on over 15 years of competition and training experience in mountain bike cycling and triathlon. He acquired the theoretical knowledge for this during his sports science studies. Today, the self-employed personal trainer supports athletes at all performance levels. "It doesn't matter whether someone wants to master their first 10-kilometer run or cross the finish line of an Ironman. I work out an individual training plan with the customer."
Free workshop
If you would like to hear how to plan your training, you are welcome to attend afree workshopon Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Mühlegasse 18J in Baar. From 10 am to 12 noon, Christian Pötzsch will be holding a free workshop to explain what is important when it comes to planning the right training. "Anyone who is interested in efficient training planning is welcome," Pötzsch invites the participants of the Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy. The sports scientist explains that it is often the details that can contribute to a significant improvement.
Continue training
The Winter Challenge runs until March 22, 2019, and the slight shortening of the route means that a one-to-one comparison with last year's time is not possible. When the stages_01 start on March 23, 2019 in Steinhausen and Auw, the training times can be compared again - and those who plan and implement their training correctly may achieve a new personal record.
