Lightning start for the Höllgrotten Harriers

The Winter Challenge of the Zugerberg Finance Trophy has only been running for two weeks and the Höllgrotten Harriers are already up and running in the club trophy.

On Sunday evening, March 7, the Höllgrotten Harriers are leading the Club Trophy with 915 kilometers. The lead over the second-placed Stubai team is an incredible 607 kilometers. A Harrier has already started 155 times, with four of them recording more than eleven starts: Harald Kasper, Mia Morris, Daniel McVeigh and Dorothee Stalder.

Team spirit motivates
Harald Kasper, the oldest of the four, leads the internal rankings. "I want to make sure that we win the club trophy again this year. Maybe we'll even reach the 10,000 kilometer mark," says the Höllgrotten Harrier, who has already run over 100 Trophy kilometers. Mia Morrison from Walchwil is also a diligent Challenge runner. Even though she is currently mostly running alone, it is the team spirit that motivates her - and her personal goal: "I want to collect 500 kilometers. And win the club trophy with the Höllgrotten Harriers, of course."

Train discovers
Born in 1990, Daniel McVeigh is one of the younger Harriers. "The runs keep me healthy and are a welcome break from the home office, whatever the weather." He will probably also tackle the altitude challenge and would also like to collect at least 500 Trophy kilometers. Dorothee Stalder's goal is also 500 kilometers. "I moved to Central Switzerland two and a half years ago. "Thanks to the Höllgrotten Harriers, who gave me a warm welcome, and the Trophy, I've discovered lots of running routes and new areas around Zug."

The Winter Challenge runs until Friday, March 19. On Saturday, March 20, the Running Trophy in Steinhausen and the Mountain Trophy in Auw will get "really" underway.
