Polysportive on the road
An opening weekend to suit every outdoor fan's taste. Almost 200 times were counted in Steinhausen and on the Horben. Nadia Hediger from TV Steinhausen Allsport was also delighted.
Nadia Hediger has been a member of TV Steinhausen Allsport for almost three years: "When I moved to Steinhausen, I joined the club to get to know people," says the 29-year-old financial controller, looking back. The offer from Allsport suited her perfectly. She loves the variety of training, whether it's fitness, floorball or another game. She is even planning to train on a climbing wall soon.
New members welcome
In addition to the polysport training on Tuesdays, the program also includes gymnastics on Fridays and the youth squad on Tuesdays. Like other clubs, the TV also welcomes new members. Nadia, who has also been on the club board for two years, thinks it would be great if new sports enthusiasts joined her club: "We are a diverse group aged between 20 and 55. Just drop in and train with us."
First run
The joint round of the Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy is just as much a part of the club's program as the ski day or the Jass and skittles evening. The TV organizes the work for the Zuger Trophy pragmatically: "One member reads the cards every evening. That way, the work is well distributed and we receive a valuable boost to our club coffers," explains Nadia, who will be tackling her first 10-kilometer run in Lucerne in October. She was motivated to do so by the offer from her employer, who is supporting her participation with regular training sessions with professional running coaches, including nutritional advice. But first Nadia wants to tackle the Horben on her racing bike. Because this sport is also very popular with the multi-sport athlete.
Note: The Rotsee run on April 6, 2019 offers the ideal opportunity for an official test of form at the halfway stage. All information at www.rotseelauf.ch
