Running specialist and Trophy debutant
Intersport Meli is supporting the Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy again this year. New to the store at Baarerstrasse 82 in Zug is Anastasija Christen from Wolfenschiessen. An enthusiastic wakeboarder - and hopefully soon a Trophy debutant.
From the board to the Trophy?
Anastasija Christen has only been working in the Trophy region since May. She hasn't yet had the chance to run a stage herself: "But I think it's a great idea and will try to take part as soon as possible." As running is one of her favorite sports alongside tennis and wakeboarding, the Trophy premiere is foreseeable. Meli is the current stage sponsor, so it makes sense for his new employee to start.
From the sofa to the Ägeriseelauf
Intersport Meli is not only involved in the Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy. Once again this year, a group of around 20 novice runners are tackling the "From the Sofa to the Ägeriseelauf" challenge. Anastasija reports: "The interesting package not only includes the entry fee and preparatory training, but an osteopath and a nutritionist are also on hand to help and advise the participants." And, of course, the right footwear is crucial. "We offer our customers a running analysis on the treadmill. We then find the best shoe for every runner."
From running to tennis
With the voucher from the Trophy newspaper, participants benefit from a 20 percent discount on the entire running range until October 31, 2019. But it's not just running that Intersport Meli offers the perfect advice. Tennis fans are also at the right address on Baarerstrasse. The stringing service and the large selection of test rackets will make every tennis fan's heart beat faster.
