Start of the Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy
The Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy starts on March 23, 2020.
The Winter Challenge is currently running over the 5.9 km of stage 05_Zug. The real start will be in just under a month with stages 01_Steinhausen and 01_Auw-Horben. The special newspaper is enclosed with the Zuger Woche today and provides detailed information.
The Raiffeisen Zuger-Trophy unofficially started with the Winter Challenge last Saturday, February 22. The timekeeping is done with a smartphone. Without the now legendary timing machines and the paper stamp cards, the "real" Trophy feeling is still missing. However, a challenge lap is definitely worthwhile to warm up and increase anticipation. It's the perfect way to start the running season.
What's new?
Last year, the orienteering category was added to the Trophy experience. The run on the orienteering routes was great. That's why the sport is now a fixed part of the program. In addition, the main stage 03_Zug-Zugerberg will be extended. The start is now directly in front of Schönegg, the valley station of the Zugerberg cable car.

The Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy not only offers wonderful opportunities to get out into nature. In addition to the actual sport, participants also benefit from numerous offers from the Trophy partners. Free workshops on topics such as economical running style or safe biking technique are on the program and exciting prizes will be raffled off among all active participants at the end of the season.
