The Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy is back.
The Winter Challenge starts on February 22 at Herti.
If there's one good thing about the mild winter, it's the lack of dust on your running shoes. Nothing stands in the way of the start of the 2020 running season.
For the 16th time, the organizers set up the timing devices at the 12 stage locations. For the 16th time, the battle for fast times, many kilometers and the collection of positive sports experiences in nature begins. If you don't want to wait until the official start on 21 March in Steinhausen and Auw, you can run or walk the 5.9 kilometers of the Winter Challenge.
Only with smartphone
The Winter Challenge starts on the Carnival weekend, Saturday, February 22. The route corresponds to the middle lap of stage 05_Zug. The start is therefore at the athletics facility in Herti. However, only those who take their smartphone with them can take part. A timing device is not yet available here. If you are aiming for the title of frequent starter, you should already be there. Just like club members who want to bring their club to the top of the club trophy. The kilometers of the Winter Challenge already count for these two competitions. Anyone with ambitions of finishing on the podium for the entire Trophy can sit back and relax until the official start on March 21. Then everyone can start with the 01_Steinhausen and 01_Auw-Horben stages. And there will be plenty of stamping again.
