The Trophy continues at the weekend

From Monday, you will be able to enjoy the wonderful view over Zug again after your participation.

The second stage is already drawing to a close. On Sunday evening, the Zugerberg Finance Trophy moves on - to Ennetsee and Schönegg.

Never before have so many exercise enthusiasts taken part in the first stage of the Trophy. Now the second stage is also well on course. With a stage duration of four weeks, the organizers in Baar have recorded 1024 starts after three weeks. This is around 160 starts short of the total from the record year of 2018. The mountain stage from Root up to Michaelskreuz had around 600 times in the rankings on Sunday evening, compared to 740 times at the end of the stage in the record year of 2015.

Outstanding performances

The records set by Doris Nagel-Wallimann (Baar long) and Tobias Renggli (mountain run) were followed by Myriam Keiser from TSV Rotkreuz. She is also at the top of the mountain running rankings with a course record. Janina Wüst has broken another record on her mountain bike and is almost seven minutes ahead. Robert Scherer has already climbed over 20,000 meters in the altitude challenge. Timo Dainese, CEO of presenting sponsor Zugerberg Finanz and initiator of the challenge, is also a strong contender. Last Sunday evening, he was in a strong 3rd place with 13,540 meters of altitude.

Ennetsee and Zugerberg

The Cham running group is in charge of stage 03_Ennetsee with the three routes over 2.2 km, 5.1 km and 14 km, which starts on Monday, May 17. "The routes along Lake Zug are very varied. On the long loop, there are a whopping 190 meters of altitude to conquer," says Daniel Föllmi, stage manager of "his" routes. Team Advantage is now responsible for stage 03_Zug-Zugerberg. "2.9 km, 14 % average gradient and 380 meters of altitude - these are the facts of our stage," says stage manager Sara Hübscher and adds: "But once you reach the top, the effort is rewarded with a wonderful view over Zugerland."
