There it is: the first track record of the season

Now he has done it for the first time in the 2018 season of the Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy. Broke a course record. As so often, his own. As expected, Philipp Arnold is off to a strong start this spring. He beat his time from last year by almost 30 seconds. Almost a world tour on the short distance. His lead over second-placed Christian Bühler is over five minutes, which at Arnold's pace means a lead of over 1.5 km.

The conditions were not right last weekend. The path was snow-covered and icy. Arnold announced: "I'll come back when it's more pleasant to run." No sooner said than done.

How many course records will he break this season? Who will stand up to him and perhaps challenge him for the lead in the rankings? We are curious!
