Two that fit together perfectly
The trophy is an integral part of the fitness team's program.
The Concordia Gymnastics and Sports Club (TSV) is a multi-sport club. That's why it and the Raiffeisen Zug Trophy are a perfect match. The motto "Fit and Fun" describes club life just as well as the idea of the Zug Trophy.
Hits the zeitgeist
Sandra Kilchör, head of the youth squad and organizational soul of the TSV, is often out and about with the whole family on the Trophy stages: "If we don't take part, we feel like we're missing out on something." It's incredibly nice how many people you meet along the way, says Kilchör enthusiastically, adding: "Of course, every year we are also driven by the ambition to beat our times from the previous year." She and her husband came to the club through athletics. They both think the Trophy is a sensational project. This exercise program meets the spirit of the times. You can run individually and still measure your performance against others.
A fixed part of the program
Seven TSV members help to scan the stamp cards from the machine at the Baar site. "Everyone takes on a day of the week," explains Kilchör, "Most of them add a walk to the program." The fitness team, whose members are all over 40 years old, completes every Trophy stage. The Raiffeisen Zug Trophy is firmly anchored in their activity program.
Vice world champion
In addition to the fitness team, TSV Concordia has two youth teams, a volleyball and floorball group as well as the young 30-strong parcours team, which was formed from a youth team. TSV is internationally active with its sport stacking team. Around twelve people between the ages of 8 and 40 train with the "cup stacking group". Five of them took part in the World Championships in Orlando, USA, at the beginning of April, where they won a runner-up world title.
