Work for TV Steinhausen
Polysporty on the move, even in winter. TV Steinhausen is responsible for the 1st stage of the Running Trophy.
Another dream weekend at the halfway point of the stage has provided TV Steinhausen with a pleasing amount of work. Its members read the stamp cards. And, of course, run themselves.
On Tuesday, April 3, 2018, eight club members did not meet in the hall for training at 8.15 p.m. as usual, but at 7.30 p.m. for a lap of the Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy. Among them was Claude Gasser, who coordinates the stage work. "Practically everyone helps with reading in the stamp cards. This is now part of the duties of club membership," explains Gasser. In return, the annual membership fee and the costs for excursions, such as the recent ski day on the Stoss, are cheaper, he adds.
Polysports training
Those who train with TV Steinhausen on Tuesday evenings play a lot. Like last week, when Frisbee and floorball were on the program after the warm-up round. Women and men aged between 30 and over 50 take part in this training session. The younger ones are in the gymnastics hall on Friday evenings. Running enthusiasm discovered
Thanks to the Raiffeisen Zug Trophy, members are putting on their running shoes more often, says Claude Gasser: "There are also some who have rediscovered running thanks to the Trophy." He is delighted to be able to support the Raiffeisen Zuger Trophy with his club: "It's a great project that fits in very well with our club," says Gasser, summing up the commitment.
Five times Villiger
Philipp Arnold leads all of the men's rankings. Among the women, there is a different leader in all six disciplines. The Villigers are strong in the mountain bike category. Female athletes with this surname occupy places one to five. The fastest of them is Eveline, just like last year.
