Balm for the soul
The advice to stay at home should still be followed. Nevertheless, a Trophy round in the Steinhauser Forest is good for body and soul.
The advice is clear: stay at home whenever possible. At the same time, fresh air helps you to cope with the current situation. A brisk round on the beautiful Trophy trails in Steinhauser Wald is like balm for the soul. Anyone who runs or walks alone is definitely doing themselves some good. The almost 500 stamped times show that the urge to exercise is great.
Without a smartphone
The easiest way to start in Steinhausen is via smartphone. However, it is now also possible to start without a phone. You stamp your start and finish time on a stamp card as usual. Instead of throwing it into the machine, you submit your time via the web form, which can be found under Contact. On stage 01_Auw-Horben, it is also not possible to start with a smartphone. The stage has to be definitively canceled due to a lack of authorization.
Arnold in the lead
The Trophy dominator seems to be on form again this year. Philipp Arnold from Cham has won the Winter Challenge. When he completed all three stages in Steinhausen last Saturday, he immediately took the lead on all distances. Although he is still a few seconds off his course records, the gap between him and the runners-up is still considerable. Jennifer Heer also took the lead over the short and medium distances on the same day. She also won the women's Winter Challenge.
Stay healthy
Even if the organizers of the Raiffeisen Zuger-Trophy are pleased that participation is possible, health comes first. Taking part in the Zuger-Trophy is not a must. A lap from home also serves its purpose and is good for you. And the same applies here: keep your distance.
