It starts in 10 days

After a good five-month winter break, the Zugerberg Finanz Trophy is back. The pre-start stage in Zug kicks off on Saturday, February 25.

Externally, things have been quiet around the Trophy over the past few months. In the background, however, the organizers have been working hard to ensure that the 19th edition of the popular round-the-clock format can get off to a successful start with positive changes. One of the new features, for example, is the company classification. Participants can now collect kilometers not only for their club, but also for their company. Which company will be able to call itself the most active Trophy company in October? The countdown starts on Saturday, February 25, 2023, when the pre-start stage begins.

Without a stamp card
As in previous years, the pre-start offers the opportunity to dust off your running shoes and set off on a first test lap. The 5.9-kilometre stage starts at the Zug athletics facility and leads via Herti-Allmend to Letzi, along the lake via Brüggli to Choller and via the Cham cycle path back to Brüggliweg and the same route. Special feature: The time cannot be recorded using the now legendary stamp card. All other timing methods such as app, Strava, GPS device or manually work.

Running course for beginners
Once again, the Zugerberg Finanz Trophy will accompany newcomers to running on their way from 0 to 30 minutes in one go. The course is primarily aimed at women, although men are also welcome. The first of twelve training sessions will take place on Tuesday, March 28 at 9 a.m. at the start of stage_01 in Steinhausen. Details and registration can be found here.
