Next stage change imminent
From Monday, May 20, 2024, the Trophy route on the Zugerberg will once again offer beautiful views.
The second official stage window ends in just a few days. The Zugerberg Finanz Trophy will move on to Ennetsee and Zug and the Zugerberg at the beginning of the week.
From the start of the third stage on Whit Monday, May 20, the mountain route leads from the start at the Ägeristrasse/Weinbergstrasse junction in Zug via Rötel, Verena Chapel and Blasenberg to the Zugerberg. The 450 meters of elevation gain are spread evenly over the 5.8 kilometers, making this mountain stage the second longest of the entire Trophy after the Raten route. It is supervised by the Zug endurance sports club "Team Advantage". Sara Hübscher, who is responsible for the stage, is looking forward to the start: "Just one week before the official start, 'our' stage has already been completed over 600 times. Over the next four weeks, not only those who want to collect altitude meters will come, but also those who want to enter the overall mountain running rankings by road bike, mountain bike or on foot. They will all be able to enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Zug after their work is done." According to Hübscher, some of the club members will use the stage to prepare for the club's highlight of the season, the Zytturm Triathlon on June 16, 2024.
From Baar to Ennetsee
Anyone who likes fast asphalt can look forward to the third stage of the circuit. The three laps of 2.2 km, 5.1 km and 14 km start at Hünenberger Badi. "The routes along Lake Zug are very varied. On the long lap, there are a whopping 190 meters of altitude to conquer," says Daniel Föllmi, member of the Cham running group and stage leader. Here, the finishers can expect not only a beautiful view, but also a wonderfully refreshing dip in Lake Zug.

We always like to take a look at the statistics and your impressive achievements. For example, there are the Höllgrotten Harriers, who already have over 1100 starts in their ranks. In the company ranking, "Siemens" pulls away with almost 1800 kilometers. Zugerberg Finanz AG" and the "Partners Group" duel it out for second and third place. Among the frequent starters, Cielo Arnold is in the lead with well over 600 kilometers and Heidi Müller is once again in pole position in the altitude challenge with over 25,000 meters of altitude. Hot on her heels is Anthony Pickering.
