Trophy running course for beginners
Getting started in a group: the running course for beginners starts on March 30.
The start of the first stage also marks the start of the first free Trophy running course for beginners. Who is taking part?
Many things are easier in a group, such as the first few kilometers of jogging. And because it's not only easier, but also a lot more fun, the Zugerberg Finance Trophy is offering the first running course for beginners. It starts on Wednesday, March 30, at 9.30 am. "Who doesn't know the excuses that keep you from finally lacing up your running shoes on a regular basis," says Sara Hübscher, who runs the running course, "I've been running for years and it just feels good." Although the course is advertised for beginners, men are of course also welcome. "Women often find it more difficult to get started, but are then more likely to stick with it if they are in a group," observes Sara Hübscher, "but we definitely also accompany men on their first running steps."
Full of anticipation
The twelve training sessions of around 90 minutes each take place on the current Trophy circuit. The group meets in Steinhausen for the first four sessions, in Baar for sessions five to eight and on the 03_Ennetsee stage for the last four. In addition to getting to know new sports colleagues, they also get to know three stage locations. "We take it easy. In addition to the first running steps, the training also includes strength and specific running exercises. And who knows, maybe one or two of them will manage the five-kilometre run in Lake Ennet on the last day," says Sara Hübscher full of anticipation. This is her first running course in a leading role: "It would be wonderful if I could find a group of motivated women to run this premiere with."
